Contact Us Marriage Counseling Programs Our Intensive Marriage Counseling Programs are designed primarily for couples who are struggling in their marriage. We commonly hear reports like..."Our passion has faded away"...."I'm living with a stranger"..."I've lost hope of this marriage ever getting better", but most commonly we hear, "I'm exhausted with trying to make it work and I'm ready to give up." If you are fighting for your marriage, or you know a couple in this situation, please don't give up hope. We have found that God is completely available and committed to marriages being restored and we see Him perform the miraculous through our marriage counselors each and every week. Couples Intensive - 4 Day Marriage Counseling Program The Couples Intensive is our most popular marriage counseling program. It utilizes a structure that is the most powerful format we have found for helping couples who feel stuck and hopeless move past the barriers that keep them from experiencing the marriage of their dreams. This format consists of no more than five couples working with two of NIM’s marriage counselors over a four-day period. While it’s common for many couples to be reluctant to discuss their relationship in front of others, our experience is that by the end of the marriage counseling program those same couples have a renewed hope in their marriage. Approximately 30 hours with NIM marriage counselors A safe and supportive environment with a maximum of 5 couples and two NIM marriage counselors  Luxury accommodations All meals included A participant manual and other follow up services.   Marriage Intensive - 2 Day Marriage Counseling Program The Marriage Intensive uses the same powerful principles as other NIM Marriage Counseling Programs, yet is perfectly designed to address special circumstances. It also allows for more scheduling flexibility for the couple as they meet privately with two of NIM’s marriage counselors over a period of two days at the National Institute of Marriage in Branson, MO. Additional pre-assessment. Two days of exclusive marriage counseling Two nights lodging and two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner for each individual Approximately 15 hours with NIM's marriage counselors A participant manual and other follow up services Spouses Intensive - 4 Day Counseling Program The Spouses Intensive was developed based on a number of people that have inquired and are interested in attending an intensive, but their spouse isn't willing. We believe that when one person moves towards health it can make a significant change in the marriage relationship. This format consists of no more than 8 individuals working with NIM’s marriage counselor(s) over a four-day period.  Approximately 30 hours with NIM marriage counselor(s) A safe and supportive environment with a maximum of 8 individuals and NIM marriage counselor(s) Luxury accommodations All meals included A participant manual and other follow up services.   Why is Intensive Marriage Counseling so effective? Intensives aren't confined to the time restraints of brief weekly marriage counseling sessions. Couples are away from daily distractions for the duration of their experience.  Couples work with a team of NIM trained marriage counselors.  An Intensive is a multi-day, focused, marriage counseling experience.  NIM counselors are passionate about helping couples identify core issues and uncover hidden obstacles.  Couples acquire new understanding and skills to help make their marriage successful.  The Intensive program was developed by marriage expert, Dr. Robert S.
