We all know the statistics about marriage. Over 50% of all marriages are ending in divorce. Of the marriages staying together only 25% report being satisfied. Only 12.5% are satisfied with their relationship. Unfortunately, the same is true whether in the church or outside of the church.  The bottom line is, if your marriage is not in crisis, you know of others that are.   The leadership team at the National Institute of Marriage (NIM) is convinced that any sustainable impact on marriage within a community will only happen through the church.  Therefore, the only way we can truly accomplish our mission of “Building, Restoring, and Renewing the Promise of a Great Marriage” is to equip and support local Church Leadership teams that are in the community.  Over the last six years we've worked with literally hundreds of couples on the brink of divorce.  In working with them we have discovered several key principles that dramatically change relationships.  Over time, our talented team of therapists translated these principles into life changing marriage programs that take a biblically-sound, non-denominational look at the marriage relationship and how each person within it contributes to the health of the marriage.  This program is designed for Pastoral Staff, Christian Counselors, Military Chaplains, Marriage Mentors, Small Group Leaders, etc.   Our therapists have worked with hundreds of couples using this material and through presentations and interactive question and answers sessions they help others understand how to make a difference in the relationship of the couples in their care.  Participants will learn different methods of intervention that are providing couples with the results they so desperately need.
